I would appreciate entrepreneurs as i m going to be a budding entrepreneur, pursuing post graduation diploma in entrepreneurship and business management. I feel entrepreneurs are the one who take calculated risks in their life and try to create something of their own. I believe everyone should have working experience of at least 1-2 years before starting something of their own. I would suggest those young intelligent minds who are having entrepreneurial qualities to be an intrapreneur in a firm if they cannot open their own firm.best wishes!!

hey Preethy..u r right...1-2 years of experience...that too in start up companies gives you a very good exposure on how to run a business successfully from scratch...

1-2 years years expericence is right if your are staring a of the same line.but for new idea and ventures you required management skill on how to run a business

hey u dont really need PGD for entrepreneurship...and dont waste ur n somebody elses time of 1-2 yrs to gain exp... u dont really need that.. Treat people as normal human beings.. Give them the incentives n they will help u.. U need to identify problems n work on them...

Experience very important yes preethi agree that experience working elsewhere is very important. Especially a smaller company where exposure is present on all aspects of running business. Its not just the technical aspects, the financial, legal tax matters which take far more time than technical matters.. So guys and gals be ready for it if jumping into a business.
