Guys, it is an accepted fact that the work profile of the glorified IT engineers is simply that of coders, to wit, refer to the TOI article of 18/2. The majority of the jobs do not call for any engineering or MCA qualifications and can well be done by an HSC with some training. It is in their vested interests and to artificially create a certain privileged status that the IT companies call for qualifications more fit for a professor!
As is very clear, the companies themselves are notabove faking the resumes of their employees in order to get lucrative orders from abroad. Thus, it is a case of the kettle calling the pot black. When it is in the interests of our so called honest and honourable companies such misdemeanours are considered essential business tactics for furthering the business but, in the case of the poor potential/working employee these selfsame companies are indignant when he/she pads up their resume's for furthering their careers! indeed, strange or, not so strange, since we have been conditioned to think that whatever Narayanamoorthy/Kiran Karnik et al spout has to be the unwarnished gospel.
Forget about the issue and if you want a realistic way to fake your CV go to Fakeresume.com. It gives you the complete lowdown on doing this creatively and what is more, seemingly truthfully.
In a convoluted, fake world if we are going to nitpick about the acceptability or otherwise of something as simple as faking a CV well, I can tell you, there is no percentage!! to our well being.

"The majority of the jobs do not call for any engineering or MCA qualifications and can well be done by an HSC with some training." I disagree. It's not that simple. There is something called logical thinking which most non-engg graduates lack - which is why they are non-engg graduates, boss. Barring exceptions, why should it take a potential software engineer to complete their graduation and THEN think about software? Note: Most PROFESSORS will not be able to work in IT companies. It's NOT that easy. Professors lack application skills although they have knowledge.

Nice to talk and give examples about. When Microsoft gives ad for requirement do they give wanted Graduates with x years of experience or do they give wanted drop outs with logical thinking?? Bill gates is a drop out man but drop outs are not Bill Gates !!
