Most top clients (even US & UK and world wide) are not as holy as we think. They waste our time trying to get the design and prototypes and do the same with several companies and after getting all the info, they use it and get it done inhouse by themselves. I have gone thru several such situations. They waste our time and money and should be labelled as cheats. I agree that one should be prompt in responding etc but be aware that there are several clients and technical heads working who just post a requirement and use the responces/info for selfish gains.
