There is a saying in Tamil "Ikkaraikku akkara pachai" meaning the pastures on the other bank of the river always look green. I personally feel that wherever you study, it is only the approximately 1.5 kgs weighing organ that matters. I do agree it is the same organ that takes you to abroad for higher studies. As far as IT is concerned most of the Indians working in US are pass out of Indian Universities. I should admit that biotech/basic science degree programmes give a lot of theory but infra structure for pratical training is not available with many institutes. But the scenario is changing now. Our institutions and universities have started to upgrade in terms of facilities and expertise and are on par with their western counterparts. people from my own family are abroad for the qualifications they have gained in India. We have great institutions like IIT, BITS, IISc and so on............
