Thanx that you raised this issue....I worked for one of the biggest PSU oil company in India. My PF was withheld for more than 14 months.....reasons I had a bond of 1 lakh( on account of my sabbatical). My PF was several times higher, I asked them to pay the balance... company HR refused...I had to borrow personal loan at steep rate.
Since I was not working the time I resigned, I asked for refund of all PF and Superannuation fund amount since I worked for more than 9 years with the company they are yet to pay my MONEY.
I wish redressal system was there to sort issues like this faster....and also such HR officials be made answerable....
