see from my point of view Education makes u more informed and make ur approach more logical and systematic. Practical Exp. teaches u how to face different challenges and behave in a matured way to deal with any kind of situation.
so in my view a perfact mix of both can do wonders. and dont see everything in th light of those who are successful like Murthy and ambani.....see how many have failed due to absence of one of these factors.
