for your overseas travel no doubt you require insurance as in foreign countries medical treat ment is very costly but our insurance agencies behaves in a funny manner.i want to go abroad and i was to stay for one year on tourist visa only.i went to all big agencies but they refused to give me travel insurance for one year and one insurance company agreed to give one year in two parts but if i claim in first 180 days then they will not give next insurance for another 180 days that means even after paying premium i cannot avail any benefit for first 180 days.can anybody explain me the logic behind such funny rules?
