Dear Readers...

Aviation is misunderstood industry especially regarding the pay.. The article says intl' airline pay 8 lakhs a month to senior cabin crew.. This is absolute nonsense.. not even the senior most pilot make this much money.

The actual figures are as good as 15K - 30K for freshers in the airlines while the senior cabin crew may draw a maximum of 1 Lakh if they hold a managerial position.

I think you misunderstood the article.
I guess its 8 lakh per annum and not per month.

Foreign airlines offer Rs 15,000-40,000 for newcomers, and upto Rs 8 lakh for senior staff.

You cant say one figure in monthly terms and others in annual scale.. that poor journalism..

If REDIFF is listening please appoint industry experts or people who have some exposure to write articles like these!!!
