Very good advice but....

There is one factor that you have not taken in to account and which actually explains the \" Brandi-fication\" of IIT education as a whole. That factor is the IIT envionment. The kind of env. that you get here i.e ..you interact with , literally speaking, the best brains and definitly amongst the top personality in the nation that automaticaly ...i reapeat again ..automaticaly causes you to work harder ..be patient and be positive ...or else you won\'t survive in IIT education. Its kind of reflects the situation present in the corporate world.
Coming back to the question of \" Brandi-fication\" ( pardon me for the choice of the word :) ...This kind of env. that is you interact and also compete with the best minds/personality present in the country ...you yourself make a brand out of it ..you yourself mould your personality on that direction and therefore YOU YOURSELF become the IIT brand.

Gyan guru....VP of microsoft was a good example...
but while giving such examples they forget that there are innumerable ppl from IITs who are helm in other companies..they r just so many......and who is saying only IITians are doing good and r in top positions....but there percentage is much much more...dont post such frivolous examples and make fun of urself...
