BITSAT score is the basis at BITS Pilani for not only getting admission to Engineering but also for Pharmacy, as well as various MSc(Hons) Programme in Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Maths and Physics at Pilani and Goa Campus. All students who get admission to the various MSc(Hons) programmes are given on priority an opportunity to work under the dual degree scheme of the Institute for one of the Engineering or Pharmacy programmes and the allotment is done by competition based on the performance of the student during the first year at the Institute. Under the Dual Degree Scheme, it is possible for a student to work for and complete concurrently two integrated first degrees say a BE (Hons) and an MSc(Hons)within a reasonable period of time which is typically 5 years. Imagine having a dual degree combination such as MSc Maths and BE Computer Science, MSc Chemistry and BE Chemical, MSc Physics and BE ELectrical Electronics, MSc Economics and BE Computer Science, MSc Biological Sciences and BPharm etc. Simply deadly combos and that is not thinkable in any of the other Indian Universities today. The dual degree scheme has been successfully working at Pilani for the past three decades!!

u r absolutely correct but the matter is that these combos r deadly but there isnt much awareness abt it and people r tentative in persuing msc degree i have heard ur name r u from ranchi
