Hi, I am sharing my experince with the earlier compny when I put forward my resignation.As stated in the artical I was very specif when it come to writting a resignation letter. I discussed it with my immideate manegar giving the reason for the resignation. It was very polite. But when it came to relieving me from the company they strted all kind bad things they can do. They have asked me to stay back for three months which was not possible. I was ready to pay for notice perios but they said it depends on the company whether they should ask for it or not. I was there for one month after my resignation. I completed my exisiting project,i did handover properly.I finished all the resposbilities of the project & they also accepted it gladly. But they were not ready to relieve me before three months.Instead they try to put me in another project even after my resignation. So I had to leave the company without experience & relieving letter.One thing iunderstand that companies do not bother what is there in the employee hand book.They simply handle the case by case basis.They just keep on playing with those laws & haraass the employee leaving from the orgnization.A painfull experience.
