I have studied at Bristol for a Masters programme in Communications and Signal Processing. I am still in the UK working for the University of Portsmouth.
In my opinion, the research work that you do to find out about the opportunities in the UK before you come here or for that matter before going to any destination is of prime importance. There is something klnown as the skills shortage list, take a look at that. Also for some undergrad courses & all masters there is the SEGS scheme that allows work after degree for one year. Scotland can be promissing as well due to the Fresh talent scheme as it aloows u 2 yrs stay after a masters course. Enough to earn back your investment and find a good job. Only limitation is that you gotta be in scotland, but that is not a big issue. Take a loan of 4-5Lakh if you feel its necc. the Rs. deval will take care of the interest you pay on loan. If you are a couple (and no kids) then bring your spouse/partener along with you. One of you will be alllowed to work full time while the other can part time. If you have kids donot bring them over or your partner as that will be expensive, atleast in the 1st yr.Singles goto scotland for MS/MA
