It's a really gud question & I think after completing my one year as a Management Trainee..........I still believe that u should def. have som work exper. before u plunge in the world of management studies.

I will like to list out few points to support my argument:

1. Whn u hv expereince, u can link ur studies with the practical knowledge that you have aquired after the exp.

2. You can relate to various topics in a much better way .i.e, If you are doing Fund flow analysis or a study on working capital requirement & if you have some inhand exp. on the same....It will make a hell lot of a diff. in the class room at the time whn ur prof. will impart that to u.

3. You realise the importance of team work in an organisation..........whn u directly join MBA college.u start doubting about the importance of it.

4. Work pressure will make u a much better student.whn it will come to handle the proessure of ur prof.

5. U will relaise tht ur boss is always right.......and the same implies whn abt the prof.

The list can be long & ther can be both Pros & Cons..........but I persoanlly believe that any SUBSTANTIAL work exp. makes a lot of diff.

regards
