Hi, I think this is one question that is faced by most of the aspiring MBA's.For that we need to understand that MBA as a course was designed for professionals in their late twenties who either needed a career shift from technical to management side, or for those professionals who needed to enhance their skill sets for managerial posts. The key word here is 'professionals'.Over the years MBA has become an option to get fat pay slips early in ones career. Also MBA is a very general course so it's always better for fresh gradute's to work for few years, atleast an year or two and get their basics right, apply whatever they have learned and get to know a few things about the industry. For instance an engineer can learn about how projects are executed,a commerce graduate can learn about processes in financial institutions and so on. Also few years in industry can help one to be more clear about ones goals and areas of intrests. In short a few years of work-ex can definately be a plus point when doing an MBA.All the best.
