Hi Shalini, i am BMS student and had some queries on similar lines. ofcourse work experience is an additional plus point in your CV while you apply for B-school. However it is not the ONLY criteria. So a work ex will definitely be helpful but it should be in good firm and somewhat related to management, supervision etc.
What I recommend (and what im also gonna do) is that give the entrance exams like CAT, CET etc a try. so atleast you have the gates open right now. whether to join a b-school or no can be decided later depending on school u get into and type of job offered to you.
