Me & my wife had been to Madikeri (Coorg) last week during the Indepence Day long weekend. It was indeed a rare holiday experience as it was our first visit to coorg. I must say that coorg is really magical in the monsoon & probably the best time to enjoy it most. On top of the list of places mentioned here it is not a bad idea to visit the Dubare Elephant Training Camp & Bylapkuppe Tibetan settlement . Also for first timers try to get accomodation at home stay(private guest houses in coffee estates).It will be a different experience compared to traditional hotels.
