I am an alum of ISb (Class of 2006). Although the article does explain the differences between ISb and IIM\\\\\\\'s, it misses out on one crucial aspect. ISB is the only place where you can interact with people from extremely diverse backgrounds... Who else to teach you better about ledership than an Sqdn Ldr from the Indian Airforce or a decorated veteran from Kargil... Similarly you have people with successfull Enterprenuerial backgrounds , Research scholars etc ... This mix which misses badly in the IIM\\\\\\\'s goes a long way in making the experience a lot more enriching.

To do justice to ur argument you need to have an adequate exposure to both the curriculums. I am a student of IIM Ahmedabad and I can state unequivocally that your contention is wrong. IIM A for one has guest lectures by successful entrepreneurs and leaders in diverse fields. As for your statement regarding diversity of backgrounds the very nature of the admission process ensures a diverse mix of students. In short watch your words my friend.

Hello Mr.IIM-A, No one is contesting the fact that IIM-A is (still) the premier MBA institute in India. But if your sole claim to fame is organising guest lectures, then buddy you better start looking over your shoulder. These kind of things are passe. The world has moved on.
Also, to say that the IIMs have a more diverse background than ISB, flies in the face of accepted facts. You might want to revisit your sources of data. Have you boys at IIM-A heard of a thing called \\\"work experience\\\"? It is something you get when u actually start WORKING. But I guess that you will only come across it after you graduate. A pity.
Do you know what was the biggest mistake that Coke made? It was to start comparing itself with Pepsi & hence acknowledge that it was a serious competitor. Your outburst seems to display a sign of nervousness, maybe even panic, that your days as India\\\'s leading B school are numbered. But relax my friend, ISB is based on a different model. They are not comparing themselves to you. Why do you feel the need to run them down?
