It is important to learn good English. Indians should not be concentrating on learning the right accent, but on speaking correct English. I recommend a new book that is very useful. It is called "Indlish: The book for every english-speaking Indian" (author: Jyoti Sanyal).

Radish, Your assumption that you speak good english needs to be re-evaluated. From your post it's clear that you need to work a lot on your skills. Get someone who speaks good english to evaluate you. self- evaluation is often misleading
