This is one-sided..if you are going to blacklist a person who did not turn up on the date of joining it should be the same for the companies who do not reply that a particular person is not being selected as the person is waiting to get a respone from the company for a long time?
Unprofessional Companies

I donot blame the candidates.I think companies IT or otherwise need to behave more humanely. The loss suffered by a candidate who does not know that he has been rejected & waits endlessly is much more than what a company suffers when a candidate does not turn up.Most of the companies are very heartless and even in this age of instant communication they do not bother to inform candidates who have been rejected in the final rounds & why. When a candidate is rejected but not informed or is informed months later that the offer has been withdrawn, not only the career of the candidate suffers but the whole family of the candidate who has gone thro various hardships & invested in his/her education suffers.I think HR is most heartless anywhere and they shd first be taught to be more humane first if at all. Right now its the sellers market and the techies are the sellers so there is nothing wrong.Yet the companies do not learn.
