Below is a message I posted earlier(just for ur quick reference). I forgot to mention that I already have a B1 visa, so would that speed up the process for my student visa or should I travel on B1 and get it changed there?. Also I would like to know which is exam should I give in order to land up in time for earliest semister in US. I dont want to waste n e time. I am 25 already.

I am BA(Eco) graduate and have been into computers since I did a 2 sem course from NIIT back in 1997. However I dont think I can add that to my certificates(scores were not impressive).Now I am going to Houston-Texas for higher education. It will be great if you could suggest a good course related to computers/IT (preferably hardware)which has good prospects in India since I do not intend to migrate to the US.Please do let me know which uni.or college in Houston offers the course. One last thing which test or exam do I have to give to apply for the same ?

you did not mention that you took GRE or not. Also, you have only done BA, which is 3 yr degree in India and you are not eligible for a Masters degree in US.
