2 years of exp. in Infosys as a software enginner.
I want to go for MIS course in US univ.
I would like to know the job prospects of this course as direct ranking of univ. acc. to course are not there and not many univ are offering this course.
Is it good to go for this course or should i go to full time MBA(restriction is funds)

IMHO, With an undergrad degree in engineering and a few years at Infosys, an MIS program is not going to add as much value to your resume as an MBA would.
If you are interested in MBA, you can address funds issue by going for a part-time program (NYU, Univ of Chicago, UCLA, Michigan offer excellent part time programs)
You should also consider other majors based on the industry that you want to focus in (either in an IT capacity or direct), such as Finance/Manufacturing/Consulting
Getting back to IT would always be an easier fall-back in terms of job prospects. With MBA as a base, you can go for MGMT Consulting and Financial Services jobs as well.
