Hi, I am Swaroop, B.Tech in Mechanical engg. Presently designated as Design engineer at one German org posting at Dubai, in the field of CATIA V4. I also have exp in most of the CAD/CAM/CAE applications. How can i apply for a job on these design fields? Is any reference required? I even dont have any of my neighbours/relatives in US. How can i proceed further in this regard? Also how will be the visa formalities? Kindly suggest me. This would be greatly appreciated.

Many of the American companies' design jobs are being outsourced to their Indian offices. I think you have a better chance in getting a job there. For US jobs, please try networking options, posting our resume in job sites likes Monster, Hotjobs etc. and check for the open positions to see what kind of qualifications are required.
