Hi, I am a student on F-1 at ASU and I have bought health insurance from University but for my wife who is about to reach here, it'd be very costly to buy from university. They are asking 2000$ for a semester. Pls suggest what should I do?

I dont know if your university allow insurance from outside!! if yes then you can try firstUsa insurance. But usually insurance for F-2 are usually very high. Also, try to know from your students office if you can take advantage of Medicare!!!
