Career Advice after MCA

What should be the best thing to go for in US after MCA from BITS Mesra and 1 year of experience with TCS in Software.I am with Java technology.I am thinking of GMAT or PHD, but I am not very sure of whether I sould attain a technical expertise in Java or I should go for a non-technical thing, like MBA from Wharton etc...Please guide.

Getting admit in Phd in Comp science is not possible for someone who did MCA only. If you need Phd in comp science, you need enough credits (120+) in comp science related subjects, MCA will give you hardly 90 credits. I know plenty of people who came here to do MS after doing MCA. Your best option is doing MS because MBA in good school means atleast (3-5) years full time experience.
