Hello,

To get a scholarship you need to have good academic results in your Class 10 and 12 if you are applying as an undergraduate. If you are applying for Masters, you need a 4 year degree completed with good results. Also, SAT and TOEFL scores are important for undergrads and GRE for graduates. If you have good scores in all this, you stand a chance of getting a scholarship.

Also, most public universities dont give scholarships to International students. Private universities do but their fees might be higher than public schools.

As far as liquiditiy is concernec, for your visa you need to have a bank balance equal to your 1st year's fees and also money in other forms like Fixed Deposits, LIC, Bonds, Shares, etc to show funds for the rest of the years.

Hope this helps

Anand
