Wrong information about HBsAg (Hepatitis B)
by Arunkumar N T on Sep 12, 2005 02:18 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I'm pure veggie, not even garlic or onion at home. Never had sex with anyone, not jaundice nor smoker. I cook my food at home yet I have got this. I'm austonished to see that pharmacy companies are encashing the situation. Whereas the fact is that this desease is curable I'm taking ayurvedic medicines and for your kind information I'm fit and fine without any symptoms. I'm leading normal life for the past 9 years! Stop exagirating the situation. Otherwise I will pull you to the courts.

Hi
The ayurvedic treatment you are talking about seems to be a miracle.
Though the virus is called Hepatitis B, all organs in body are affected, liver being primary.
All medications allopathic or anything else, try to help body contain the infection, unfortunately cannot get rid of the virus.
Manifestation of disease depends upon your immune system status. The virus stays inside the cells. So if your body goes in hyperdrive & starts destroying infected cells, then you are actually in trouble.
So how you are affected by virus depends upon immune system activity, ranging from carrier stage(no symptoms), acute hepatitis(jaundice), to chronic liver damage(leading to cirrhosis), to fulminant hepatitis leading to rapid death, & liver cancer in long term.
though the long term or short term complications occur in very less number of poeple, they are serious.
So prevention is the best option.

Hey,
I am 23 years old and was diagnosied with Hepatitis B while i had gone to donate my blood. To be honest, i feel bad that i have to carry this virus in me.
Could you please guide me regarding the ayurvedix medicines available.
I am not seeking for some miracle but a cure would definetely be appreciated.

Thank You
Rohan Dias
