Mediclaim benifits

If i go a mediclaim policy and covering me and my wife. Does the policy covers pregnency and hospitilization....?

Hi..
As far as i know maternity benefits are not covered for individual policies..though it might be covered under corporate policies, i mean insurance taken through your employer. (Royal sundaram offers maternity benefits up to 20k i heard.)

Bajaj Allianz is good. It has all the aspects outlined in the above article including cashless benefits. Pls ask chk for cashless benefit in case of any other company.

As far as i know medical insurance is separate from life insurance. The coverage is only for medical expenditures incurred while hospitalized, not at death. Hope this helps.
