In India the system of prescription is totally false .In a way the doctor should pescride the drug but the patients has to consult the pharmacist for when the drug has to be taken & hoe. SO there is a systemic lacuna which need imediate attention.

U r correct. Also, in Americas, may be due to doctors shortage, patients have to get the consultation from the pharmacists. Thus, this practice is also seen in advanced countries.
