Incase i do not claim my LTA in the 4 year block period, can i claim it later? If yes, what is the period till which i can claim and will the reimbursement be taxable?

you cannot claim after the block of four years.It will be reimbursed to your salary as taxable.

Hi Mr. Singh,

If you missed to claim LTA in a particular block, you can carry forward this amount and claim it in the first year of the next block.

For eg, If you missed to claim LTA in the block 2006-09, you can claim the same in th year 2010.
