The greatest happiness comes into your life when you realize who you really are and stand up for it. No matter what. You are you. You are the best. Once you are happy about yourself you will find that people around you are happy too and look up to you. We have been living in a society that cares little for privacy of individuals. Nobody has any business to ask about your step-relationships. But again some people may be doing this because they care for you. Such people will know that it is a sensitive topic and be very gentle and polite about it. Your elder sister is right. If someone hurts you...just put them in their place.
