I am an architect and urban designer working in New Delhi. I graduated in 2004 from School of Planning and Architecture and have done my masters specialization form the same place.
After going through this article I feel bound to comment that this article is hopelessly inadequate in information and misleading as well.
The list of instiutes offering B. Arch is arbitrary, and do not seem to be based on any criterion. There are about 150 architecture colleges in India.
The scope of professional work described here is also not up to date.
Salaries and architectural fees for projects are very incorrect.
It shows the poor knowledge base of the writers and their reluctance to research what they are writing about.
Readers hoping to get information from this article will definitely do better speaking to any professional or even an architecture student.
