well these situations are very tricky indeed.the first thing is ur image in front of ur friends.if they view u as a spendthrift or easy lender then they would approach u all the time.my advice to all is to build up such an image of themselves that ppl view u as a tough person in money matters, tell them u care about ur money and show that in what u do.secondly even if u have to lend the money then clear the terms beforehand and if necessary make the person give it in writing about the loan he/she has taken from u. always remember one thing-- those who are true friends with no bad intentions wld never object at these measures being taken by u.one more thing try to hand over the loan in the presence of a third person or friend.money is the main thing which spoils the friendship so make sure all the money matters are crystal clear.listen to what the brain says not the heart. all the best.
