Relying on just one exam to select students is a bad way to go about. In b-schools it is the overall personality that matters. Hope the IIMs change their admission policy sooner or later, else the products that come out of IIMs will remain just quant jocks, without adding much value to businesses.

you are 100 percentile right in your analysis. for me, cat seems funny than serious. its not the way you guage a leader-taxing him with vocabulary, logic and math. cat is more like a game than a test for real stuff. - m.sundar, madras

IIM's don't just rely on the CAT..there's the GD and the PI too....incase u forgot......so...i guess....its not just a test...!!!
