i really dont agree to expressed views of this writer. tv is not as bad as she is portraying nor books are as good as she feels. i suppose she is killing her children desire by forcing her thoughts and interst onto them. as she admits children will resist initially but one should curb that resistance and desire. tv also has a hell lot of good programmes. pressure of parents should be on the fact that they should not be allowed to some misleading programmes. inculcating reading habit from very beginning and that too from six months is the most dumbest idea i have ever had. reading books is a hobby to very few people as author admits but then you can force to remove entertainment element from kids life
