What if India looses to Srilanka and Bangladesh looses to Bermuda...both india and bangladesh will stand with 2 points each...Who will go to the next level ?

Will it be considered on the basis of run rates or as b'desh has beaten up india in the first round, they shud head to the next leavel ??

ok guys now if India wins SL India has 4 pnts, Bngldesh wins Bermuda they also have 4 points, its all on the basis of the Runrate and not whose has one the other. So India does stand a chance and it will be in the Super 8.

If India looses to Sri-Lanka and Bangladesh looses to Bermuda, then all the three teams, i.e. India, Bangladesh, Bermuda will have two points each. So whoever has more NRR will proceed to Super-Eight. Although, in theory, in above scenario, it is possible that Bangladesh has better NRR but it will be difficult to make it happen in reality.

However, above sceanrio is not the worst scenario. Worst scenario, also the most likely one, is that Bangladesh will beat Bermuda. In such an event India has to win against Sri-Lanka to proceed further.

Note: NRR is compared before winner of Head-To-Head clashes.

Head to head clashes are compared before NRR if there is only two teams competing for a spot.If it is more than two teams competing for a spot, then NRR comes into play.

Bangladesh will go thru since they have beaten India.
Since win-loss record is considered first & then NRR.

Not Quite. India will go through, as Bermuda will also have 2 points. And amongst the 3 (Ind/BD/Bermunda) countries having 2 points, India will have the highest NRR. (most probably)

What if india wins aginst SL and B'desh aginst Bermuda, then all 3 teams will hv 4 points each. And the possibility of happening this is very high. Being optimistic for India and B'desh being stronger team than B'uda...
