I think the win which rajastan is enjoying is not a easy win . See chennai 5 wickets lost but rajastan 7 wickets lost. And most important was the mistakes made by chennai .two catches dropped . two run outs missed.. But they definitely were a threat to the Royals.. And dhoni bhai not letting his team.. Generally when any team loses..they just get dispersed But did u watched dhone forming a circle and speaking to the team members.. That is the true leadership quality. I bet no other captain have ever done this or will do this in IPL. Did u also noted that when Ravi shastri was trying to get the thing out from Dhoni about the turning point of the match ..Dhoni replied that they lost the match as a team.. Well done Dhoni.. Keep it up..

Agree with you, brother. Dhoni is good captain and indeed a valuable player for Indian T20 team. To be fare, RR deserve to be the winner and they were. RR filled with many youngsters some of whom we had never heard of. There is no one man dependency and superb team effort. If one can recall, they had different match winners in each match. They had won matches even when they lost 4 to 5 wickets in the begining 5 overs. In this format, the team that won most number of matches, should be adjourned as winner. RR were really the best team.

IPL to be won by RR was already scripted by Lalit Modi from the very begining of the competition. He made the team underdogs for high returns from betting. CSK was in the final because it is also owned by another BCCI functionary Srinivasan. All the other teams are not owned by the Honorary Functionaries of BCCI. The catches which were dropped by CSK only proves the point. Even Srikanth was almost not to be seen as he already knew the result. Only Lalit chamchas like Shastri, Rameez etc were harping about IPL the brain child of Lalith. Next year I hope they will not rig the tournament like this time and proper skills will appreciated, and not the underhand ones will be seen. Only one question for Mr. Modi, HOW MUCH HAS HE MADE FROM IPL?.

I am wondering how many of u people have started talking like these..IPL as a match fixing tournament. As if Shaun Marsh and shewag lost the match purposefully. Got ur brain dried out in the hot sun?

You must be blind as a bat or an ostrich. If you havent got the game plan of Lalit Modi. If the great man of Indian Cricket asks you to oblige you better do it, otherwise your future will be doomed. One Shaun Marsh cannot win the match on his own. Finals, Nantni bowled superbly but Goni & balaji gave away the runs. So his effort went to waste. He was superb as he does not bother about Modi or his HONORARY status in BCCI. It is very difficult to make you understand if you still have not. You can have a chat with Mr. Srinivasan, who is now smarting after the defeat.

Kannan:
Well said like a true Tamilian. Now wear your Indian cap, replace CSK with MI, Dhoni with Sachin, (RR remains the same); and tell me what makes you feel that MI is an inferior team to CSK and Sachin an inferior captain to Dhoni? All your comments apply EXACTLY as they did to the last ball finish between Mumbai and Rajasthan.. ;-)

MI is neverthless an inferior team. They all had the big shots with them. Had they entered semifinals they would have been the only team who can threaten any other team. Be it either Delhi or Rajastan or Punjab or Chennai. May be but as far as captaincy is concerned you should accept the fact that Dhoni makes some positive difference compared to other captains. Dhoni defended his team. Sachin is an icon and even if he is in the team irrespective of whether he is the captain or not..the team members get their inspiration from him. But even i expected MI would enter semifinals. I opted for Chennai and MI for the semis. But unfortunately Delhi got in. It would have been a tough war if MI have entered semis..

Dhoni lacks the skill of a good Captain
1. He gave the last over to Balaji, who gave more than 30 runs in the 3 overs he bowled. 2. He Didnt consider Kapugedera or Raina who can bowl the last over. 3. Dhoni didnt sent Badrinath(who is a natural hitter) ahead of Kapugedera. 4. So Dhoni didnt utilise the adavantage of toss and batting first. 5. Dhoni didnt promote himself(as always he is scared when he dont have a good score on board) when Vidhyut got out. 6. Dhoni is a better wicket keeper than Patel. But he didnt want to take that responsibility. 7. He didnt consider Joginder Sharma(who is a good alrounder), instead of Vidyut(who failed in almost all matches). 8. Again, Dhoni didnt plan so that Ntini or Goni could bowl the last over.

Refer your point 1. Dhoni did the same thing in T20 Worldcup final Vs Pak. Last over was give to Joginder and we felt that he doing a mistake. It worked. Now that Balaji has failed, you cannot blame Dhoni. Blame the bowler who cannot live to the expectation.

Dont blame Dhoni alone dude. As he said there were many errors in batting, bowling and fielding. Suresh dropped the big catch of yousuf. Even gony dropped a catch. Some two runouts were missed. So as he said..our guys lost as a team.
