icon players

if mumbai misses semifinal birth (which is most likely) it further exposes the ignorance of BCCI administrators on cricket itself.BCCI declared rahul, sachin, ganguly, yuvi and laxman as the icon players and sides of 4 of the 5 players whom they made captain r out.big surprise dhoni was not named icon player.BCCI should understand for T20 format rahul, sachin, dada and laxman r not icon players.they r not even fit to carry drinks

thats not true every senior player has done better than dhoni, its there team which let them down, saurav has played 2 match winning innings, dravid and sachin has performed in most matches. sachin is not in semies only because of his bad luck, out of last 3 matches mumbai has lost 2 matches in last ball.

Ohh really? then who should have been the captain of these teams. Just see Hyderabad.. If captain is responsible for his team mate's performance then how brilliantly Adam gilchrist is leading the team in the absence of Laxman

Friend.. they were declared icon players so that someone will be ready to take them in their team. Without the status of icon player nobody would have taken them in IPL. Will you take Laxman, Dravid in your own T20 team???

See the stats man! Dravid has scored better than Ganguly, Sachin and even your "T20 specialist" Dhoni. In fact, Rahul is in top10 IPL scorers so far!
