check the net runrate

even if CSK wins today (27th) and MI wins against RC then by net run rate MI will go into the semis

if CSK wins today they will have 16 points and if MI wins against RC they will have 14 points, then ultimately CSK will enter Semis.

If Chennai wins today, irrespective of MI's result they cannot make it to last four. If Chennai loses and MI wins, then MI will make it to Semis coz of runrate. If both chennai and mumbai loses, then still Mumbai might go coz of net runrate. I hope this calculation is right. However it looks like Delhi has sealed their semis spot which is indeed good for the competition as they can offer real competition.

Sorry...If both CSK and MI lose then Chennai will make it to semis coz of points..
