Non-Indian captain
by SS on May 21, 2008 03:02 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Rajasthan Royal is the only team with non-Indian captain, without any 'star' player except the captain himself. RR is the team owned by a company and not an individual or two. This goes on to show that
any experienced non-Indian player can be better captain than Indian players. Look at Mumbai team, until it was in the hands in short tempered Harbhajan, it was goind down, Shaun Pollock brought it up in the game (at the behest of Jaisurya, another non-Indian). Corporate management and professional approach is must for any team to succeed. Individualistic approach, unnecessary helluva or media attention(recent outburst of KRR owner against ICC) will gain nothing.
Bravo RR, keep it up.

SS, you are prejudiced.
Look at Adam Gilchrist... captaining the Deccan chargers.... losing 'em all...
Sachin took it over from Polly and yet they are winning. MS Dhoni, Viru Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh are doing reasonably well as captains.
Shane Warne is an extremely intelligent cricketer who was never made the captain of the Aussie cricket team because of his off-field behavior, tabloids and stuff. It has got nothing to do with being an Indian or a non-Indian.

Vikas my friend!

People like SS are the people who are a Unpatriotic lot and fall prey to Gori Chamdi
Such people are ashamed to use Indian names but would love to use "Rural Names" like Oxford, RedBull.

Its in their blood not to appreciate and promote our own country. They like to be servamts and slaves of fair or pale skinned people.

Prior to Kaliyuga or Devils Age, these fair people were called Mllechhas or Leper Skinned.
They were faor as they were unexposed to sun for months and didnt have bath!

Suprisingly today the same people think they are superior to Aians.
