Dravid gambelled with Mallaya's money. Tried to prove a point that Test team can win T20. Deliberately chose test players into team when he could have bought Robin Uthappa. Deliberately kept Misbah out of playing 11 to show Test players can win T20 Game. Played with emotions of Bangaloreans. If T20 was so easy for aged players, not sure why they opted out of T20 World cup held at South Africa.
Sure Bangalore will have a new team next year as the owner has now woken up. We will be up to compete with others (who are at T20 level)..This Bangalore team needs unlimited overs to reach 20 overs score of opponent. Test team boss.....

In fact, this has been a trial season for IPL. Lot of learnings will be taken up for the real season that will happen next...
Some learning recorded are : (1) Never play Test players in T20. It spoils the game speed and also competition. Thanks to Team Bangalore to bring this learning. (2) Teams to buy retired foriegn player (retired from national duty). their absence during the competition (due to national duty), brings reverse impact. Thanks to Team chennai & Hyderabad to bring this learning. (3) Charisma of players doe not guarantee successs. Thanks to Team Jaipur & Hyderabad to bring this learning.

That was good analysis. Right to point of viewers. But you know what, Team owners, who bought players do that to promote by ads money and not by winning. For instane, Dhoni's endorsment will be much higher than warne endorsement in india, Though later win finals. :) thats business for you.

100% agree with you. In the same sense, I felt Mallaya should have brought Robin Uthappa as captain. Dravid is no doubt a great player, but Robin has no less charisma after having helped the team to win the T20 world cup.
