sachin only scored two fours yesterday. what did he want to prove? ws he playing a test cricket. he created pressure on the rest of the batsmen. which succumbed to pressure

Whatever that is: 33 ball 30 or 34 ball 30, was perfectly played according to the pitch situation.
The pitch was slow. Hitting was supposed to be reserved for the end, as Takwale and Patel demonstrated.
Look what happened to the great Yusuf Pathan in the top order.

As for saying that his slow innings brought pressure on lower order, please explain what was Uthappa's 8 ball 3, Smith's 7 ball 8 etc?

I agree the start was a bit slow, but wasn't a disaster as you guys are making it out to be.

MI started with 6.45 an over and finished with 7.4 thanks to last two overs and batsmen. But the point is this is not 50-50 ! this is 20- 20 and if a team crawls with 6.5 in 10 overs and waits till a hitter comes they should be blamed for pahetic scoring

yusuf pathan is not legend! we dont expect what people expect from sachin. have u seen jayasuriya he scored at a strike rate of nealy 200. he was also facing the same pitch and bowlers as sachin

Don't even talk about Yousuf Pathan...a hit and miss kind of player........

But i rate Abhisekh Nayar and Uthappa highly and i believe both have a future for India...Only point i'am making is slow starts at top put oo much pressure on middle order...btw, in 2007 WC Uthappa had opened for India....why can't Uthappa open with Jaya??

Why a disaster? It was a perfectly honorable loss in a last ball nail biting finish..

I don't think it was a disaster.

Mr. All Right. Supporting MI is not a crime. Even I suported MI throughout the match n wanted MI to win. But I am not blind supporter.

MI had 3 matches n any win could have take them to Semi. they have lost 2 out of 3 and last match win would not gaurantee them semi birth.

You may think Sachin a great captain but a captain who cant win 1 out of 3 mathces to reach semi....then I dont want to argue with you any more over this. I am not a blind follower of sachin or anyone else.

Thats what i said in my posts and i was ridiculed...i said his 33 ball 30 hardly helped MI cause...it only put more pressure on Pollock and Uthappa.........
Maybe MI can experiment with Takawale at the top...he looks like one big hitter.....
