anybody should be judged not by the no. of runs scored, but the no. of matches won...Sachin fails in this regard....But his conduct has been impeccable and nobody can doubt it...

Cricket is a team game, so therefore Sachins' runs are added to the 'team' total, right? Now How would you judge Brian Lara? In that regards, Steve Waugh must be having the distinction of making his team win on most occassions with his own batting. What about Viv Richards? how many his batting has won? or lost, like the WC 83 - was Viv NOT to blamed for that bad shot and the team losing the cup?
Therefore, it is NOT possible to read into this fact - how many matches one has won. Definitely if you pick two players who have won matches contributing greatly to Indian test cricket - they would be Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble. But then Rahul needed some other batsman to be with him - throughout or Kumble needed some other bowler to support him from other end and fielders to catch the catches! Let Sachin enjoy his moment, Let us be happy, rather than 'judging' him. Please, ?
