shame on rediff; u media guys feed the public the ammo to criticise even good players like Sachin whom all other entire cricketing nations players & public like & adore! u could not resist placing the cat among the pigeons again!! Again, shame on you rediff for such a comparison!

renuka, mind you , all these knocks what ever he made were only to secure the place in the team at a situation when almost every one started commenting on his ability. A player should play whenever the team wants, not when ever he requires.ok, and stop blaming rediff. facts are always bitter , just say whole heartedly did he r(d)eserve any seat in teamindia? from our side Answer is "SACHIN IS GOD OF INDIAN CRICKET, NO DOUBT, TO BE A GOD FOREVER WE REQUEST HIM TO GIVE A CHANCE FOR YOUNG PLAYERS"
I beg to differ from u on this statement. According to u all the 42 centuries that Sachin made were only wen his position in the team was in danger?? Thats ridiculous!!! Just look at the stats above, the centuries in the 90's , were they to secure his place in the team? Moreover its not in his hands to let young players play cuz thats not a decision that he makes. Probably u shud write a letter to the BCCI selectors cuz they wud be able to answer that question of urs. Wat u r doin is like me blaming u for the article published on rediff when u clearly have no control over it.
So next time pls weigh ya arguments properly and put across :)

hav u ever compared any other players record in the finals with sachin, u will get your answer. why to expect only from sachin. did any indian player scored more than 5 centuries in the finals?....let us compare other players record in the finals with sachin in the finals and than criticise him...

Hi Satya. You don't understand cricket. That is for sure. Cricket is a game between teams comprising of 11 players and not one alone. Would you be kind enough to compare Sachin with Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa who have been given innumerable chances and have failed miserably. If you have to go by stats. In 415 matches that Sachin has payed he has 57 MOM awards. And in case u don't know MOM is given to player who is responsible for his team winning. And the number is mind boggling. If you count the number of matches India has won when Sachin played you will understand that he has contributed largely to the team winning than any other player has not only in India but other teams as well. He has been playing for over 17 years now. There is bound to be few failures. Becos he is a human being. You and Sanjay Manjrekar are in the same league of people who cannot do what Sachin is doing and hence so ignorant and can only talk.
