i am sure that everyone will be happy that tendiya scored--dhoni let the cat out of the bag by saying that he is supposed to get records!! all that is fine but how many players have got so many chances like sachin--any good player will score runs after a lean patch but compare treatment meted out to sachin vis a vis others!!!

It makes me really sick to here this. Arent we all proud that India defeated Australia. First ever win in SCG. First ever win in a Final. That too by a clinical performance by good captaincy, good bowling and top it all great batting. But here everyone is trying to satisfy their ego by trying to get on top of the Master Blaster. Guys grow up ....Think a little big.... Might help you in your life...

everyone is happy that india one--every one is happy that tendulkar scored--the point is the benchmarks set by vengsarkar for being in one day team--sachin is given the max number of chances--this has been in the past and will be the trend for time immemorial.

If he has played against Weak indian Bowlers he would have doubled his records by now...

totally agree,this is once in blue moon performance. The real tendulkar is one we saw against SL match in WC 2007. I am sure if, the same match and circumntances are replayed, he shall still get DUCK.

In second innings in ODI's he has scored 16 centuries . out of these 16 india has won on 14 occasions . out of these 16 ecnturies 5 have come against ZIM , 4 against aus, 2 against SA , 2 against SL ,2 against kenya and 1 against WI.
to add to that he has 21 scores of 50 and above in which he has helped india to win in second innings. out of these 21 , 7 innings are not out innings. in these 21 innings there are 7 innings which are above 90. he has got out after the 40th overs after ensuring India's win. Still people say sachin doesnt play match winning innings. and mind u these are only the innings in which he has batted second.

One does not get too many chances if he is not a really good player. The fact that Sachin has played most number of matches is sufficent to prove that he is really the greatest.
