is 34 being old ? have u seen sanath jaysuriya in same world cup 2007 ? He took SL single handedly to finals though he is 4 years senior to sachin he is 38. Why go back to world cup see what sanath has done in 20-20 IPL he took mumbai to doors of semi finals and finished games for mumbai but selfish sachin in one and only good knock didnt take to the end and mumbai lost it. both as opponent and playing in same team sanath jaysuriya has showed what he is. dont blame the age. Indians are mere selfish bunch of cricketer otherwise how can u explain Indians being leading run scorers in all world cup since 1996 (sachin), 99 (rahul) 2003 (sachin again) but not a single world cup to India. dont blame the age its all in attitude.

Why do you expect him to win all matches for you. Rest of the ten players are also expected to win atleast two three games in his failure.
It's only because 0f his superb performance that indian team could go in WC 2003 finals. It's not his fault if rest of the ten could't win even one game.
