All Indians will agree with Sunil Gavaskar that the Kapil Dev's knock of 175 when defeat was certain for the Indian team against Zimbabwe in 1983 World Cup matches. Kapil talks less unlike Gavaskar. But he captained and motivated the team excellently in 1983. The nation owes a lot to this great Cricket hero. The dirty politics under various BCCB managements did not allow to bestow some special honour on Kapil. Will it be done now ?

They honoured him by removing him from NCA and cancelling his pension, didn't they? (For his having joined ICL to promote the game and make some money in the process.)
One has to wait and see how exactly BCCI and its reigning coterie treat the national hero at the felicitation to be held in Mumbai this month to honour the 1983 WC winning team.
