dinesh and parthiv have ability. they can perform better than dhoni in tests.in lanka there is big opportunity for both of them to replace dhoni

Parthiv has potential to replace Dhoni from test cricket, but Dinesh Karthik he is duck master. I don't remember any test series where he is not gone on a duck. He need some chances to play a big inning.
