Ponting,s softened approach, his unhappiness about his own behavior is just bluff. Its like the story of the cat with japmala in its hand.

great point. Ponting is not really apologitic about the fact that Michael Clark and hence Ponting cheated about Saurav Ganguly and also about Ponting appealing for Dhoni or Kumble's catch when he had clearly grassed it.
