Sad to see that a game we cherished so much as young lads is now so complicated and is a the center of a heated dispute and bad controversies. A thrilling test match and a great finish. Reminds one of the 87 Test match @ chepauk between the two sides. But thats where things end... Leave Ponting, Symmonds, Benson and Bucknor aside. It was still a great Test match. Sachin the master with his brilliant hundred, Ishant with his inspired bowling ( luckless, ofcourse ). He also was a sport in shaking hands with Symonds and Huseey @ the end of first and second innings of the Test match. Sad that its going to be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
If the whole situation arising out of their misdemeneaour doesnt make the Aussies ponder about how they cross the limits...wonder what else would ever would?
If not for India, it could have been West Indies or Sri Lanka or Pakistan.
