Who stirred up Harbhajan?
by John Brad on Jan 09, 2008 09:04 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

No one, except Tony Greig, ever bothered to ask the question - what made Harbhajan say what he said if he said it? I mean who/what stirred him up? Who started it? Why? Harbhajan was batting nicely and was trying to get his country out of trouble. Such a situation requires an immense amount of concentration. In that circumstance the last thing on Harbhajan's mind, probably, would have been to call Andrew Symonds "monkey". I believe that the Australians were trying their well-known notorious tactics on Harbhajan i.e. to demoralise the opponent by verbal abuse before getting him out with the ball. If Andrew Symonds did not stir the pot in the first place, we would not have been talking about it now.
